The USFA Super Youth competition exposed Nellya's latest crop of super youths. The boys of Nellya pulled off sweeps of both Y-10 (Christopher Walker, Kamar Skeete, Raymond Chao) and Y-12 (Andy Sun, Erwin Cai, Christopher Walker). Older brother Alex Walker won bronze in Y-14. The unshakable Sara Cunningham brought home Gold in Y-12 WS.

Nellya risked excess baggage charges on the return from Portland: Gold Medals for Women's Sabre Team Y-14(Lena Johnson, Sarah Zoellick, Sara Cunningham, Haley "Hailstorm" Fisher). Individually, Lena won Silver and the Storm finished 5th in a field of 49. Lena's sister Tori also won Silver in her age group (Y-10) where Lark Izenson won Bronze. Ari Allen emerged victorious from the hard-fought Stas Krivosheev Memorial Tournament. In addition to an "A" rating (and the attention of college coaches), Ari also won Nellya's first cash purse. The gracious winner donated his $200 prize money to an unnamed charity. full results.
Competing well above her age level, Skyla Powers (15), brought home the Silver medal from Junior World Cup (20 and under). She defeated Sophie Williams, before a tough loss to Yana Egorian of Russia. This result will help Skyla again secure a space on the U.S. national team.
Spectators at the season's first USFA Super Youth Competition saw Nellya Fencers demonstrate the value of great training and discipline: Three Gold Medalists (Lark Izenson, Erwin Cai and Mary Kessler) and two Bronze (Sara Cunningham and Blake Murphy) led the field: full results.

The sabre season came to its dramatic close with the announcement of the Nellya Circuit 2010 Champions. Each champion was presented with a huge, glittering steel sword: Newly armed are Haley Fisher , Matt Ward and others.
Nellya's Emily Jacobson led a strong American performance at the Womens' Sabre World Cup (Cuba). Aleksandra Socha of Poland won Gold, but the next four top spots were filled by the USA, headed by Emily's Silver Medal victory.
